The Alliance for Community Media of New York (ACM-NY) is a statewide organization dedicated to protecting, promoting, and strengthening community media and Public, Educational, and Governmental (PEG) access throughout New York State. ACM-NY advocates for policies and funding that preserve local media, provides education and resources to community media organizations, and works to ensure that residents have access to the technology, training, and platforms necessary to share their voices and participate in civic life. By connecting community media centers across New York, ACM-NY helps preserve local programming, government transparency, media literacy, free expression, and access to vital community information.
